When should I apply to Nations College?

It’s ideal to apply several months prior to when the semester at Nations College begins. However, we accept applications right up to when the semester begins. Nations College accepts qualified candidates as they apply, until all available spaces are filled.

What are the academic requirements for acceptance at Nations College?

Applicants for admission to Nations College must have earned a high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma (GED). A satisfactory academic background includes a high school GPA of 2.00, or a GED and an ACT composite score of 18; a CLT total score of 62, or SAT total score of 960. An applicant who falls below either of these standards may be considered for provisional acceptance by the Academic Admissions Committee. Homeschool-graduate applicants need to meet the above ACT/CLT/SAT requirement, but a GED or high school diploma is not required.

My scores on my ACT/CLT/SAT were not as high as I’d hoped. What should I do?

Since ACT/CLT/SAT scores aren’t the only factor in acceptance, we encourage you go ahead and apply.

Am I required to have medical insurance?

Medical insurance is not required for admission, but may be necessary if off-campus medical care is needed. Many students are covered on their existing policies. Health needs and serious illnesses or injuries are referred to one of the many highly-rated medical facilities (Urgent Care and/or Hospitals) in the Orlando area.

How will I know what to do when I get to the Nations College?

When you arrive at Nations College, you will be greeted by staff members who are ready to help you with your needs. They will first check you in, and then provide you with “next steps” information.
