Student Ministries

Practical experience for future leaders

While classroom learning is very important, it only makes up a portion of the training students need to succeed in leadership and ministry once they leave Nations College. That’s why we place every student in real ministry settings each semester, coupling experiential learning with academics. Students will be placed with seasoned experts in every practical ministry setting.

How student ministries work

Our Associate of Arts in Practical Ministry Degree includes extensive hands-on ministry, which takes place on a weekly basis. Students participate in ministry in a local church, evangelistic outreach, missions’ ministry, and more.

In addition to individual student ministry, teams are assigned to serve weekly in different churches and ministries located in the Orlando area. These ministry opportunities include serving in:

  • children’s ministry
  • youth ministry
  • worship teams
  • conference planning
  • church service planning… and much more!
