It’s true: Orlando is said by many to be an “enchanting place.” And it’s not just because it’s home to Cinderella’s castle at Walt Disney World! There’s an incredible mix of fun things to do that make it an ideal vacationing spot: Not only for families, but also for young singles, baby boomers, foodies, outdoor adventurous types, shoppers and international visitors.
While the city was built on the Disney theme park fame, the number and variety of Orlando attractions have grown to include much more! There are world-famous restaurants, high-end outlet shopping centers and an array of stores. Along with world-class theme parks, Orlando has several parks and lakes that are great for relaxing, exercise and adventure. For example, one can rent a paddleboard or paddleboat, soar over the city in a hot air balloon, and picnic under an old oak tree. There are even boating day trips offered, where one can spot dolphins and swim with manatees!
If you’re looking to try waterskiing or jet skiing, there are several watersports centers. And for an even bigger thrill, one can try parasailing or sky diving in our area.
