Do you desire to increase your biblical knowledge while developing your ministry calling? The Encounter Certificate 1-year on-campus program will strengthen your core biblical insights and deepen your knowledge of ministry skills. Along with core Bible courses, electives offered include Pastoral Studies, Christian Missions, Leadership Development, Effective Evangelism and more.

This program can be completed in less than one (1) year and will help you to go further in fulfilling the call of God upon your life.

What Will You Learn in Our Encounter Certificate Classes?

Throughout this certificate program, you’ll be learning core skills that can be used in the ministry, as well as in many professions. You’ll take courses in biblical studies, learn critical thinking skills, and cultivate a Spirit-empowered life. You will also be able to study ministry courses that align with your call to the ministry. These will give you foundational knowledge to help you be fruitful in your ministry, your career, and in your future studies.

In our Christian Ministry program, you’ll be studying topics like:

  • Developing a Spirit-empowered life
  • Old and New Testament Studies
  • Hermeneutics
  • Theological interpretations of the Bible
  • ELECTIVE (choose one): Leadership | Pastoral Studies | Missions | Evangelism (and more)

  • Complete the online orientation.
  • Complete the High School Self-Certification form.
  • High School Self-Certification or GED transcript is required within the first 12 credit hours of classes.
  • Proof of English proficiency (for applicants whose native language is other than English).
